CallJolt is a product of Twin Lightning Digital Agency Corp (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website (calljolt.com), mobile applications, and AI phone answering services (collectively, the “Service”).


1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, and billing information when you sign up for CallJolt.
  • Business Configuration: Business hours, service offerings, service area, pricing information, and custom AI assistant settings you configure through your dashboard.
  • Payment Information: Credit card and billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Call Data: When a call is handled by your CallJolt AI assistant, we collect the caller's phone number (via caller ID), call duration, call recordings, AI-generated transcripts, and call summaries.
  • Caller Information: Information voluntarily provided by callers during conversations with your AI assistant, such as their name, address, phone number, and description of their service need.
  • Usage Data: Dashboard login activity, feature usage, and service performance metrics.
  • Device and Browser Data: IP address, browser type, and device information when accessing the CallJolt dashboard.

Information from Third Parties

  • Twilio: Telephony data including call metadata and SMS delivery status.
  • Google Calendar: Appointment availability and booking data when you connect your calendar.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the CallJolt AI phone answering service.
  • Handle incoming calls on your behalf using AI voice technology.
  • Send SMS notifications to you (the business owner) with call summaries, appointment confirmations, emergency alerts, and service updates.
  • Book appointments on your Google Calendar when connected.
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Monitor service performance and prevent abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS/Text Messaging

Business Owner SMS

When you subscribe to CallJolt, you consent to receive SMS notifications at the phone number associated with your account. These messages include:

  • Call summary notifications after each handled call.
  • Emergency alerts requiring immediate attention.
  • Appointment booking confirmations.
  • Missed lead and callback request notifications.
  • Service announcements and account alerts.

Message frequency varies based on your call volume. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out of SMS notifications, reply STOP to any message or disable SMS notifications in your dashboard settings. For help, reply HELP or contact support@calljolt.com.

Caller Data

CallJolt does not send unsolicited SMS messages to your customers (callers). Any caller information collected during calls is used solely to provide the service to you, the business owner.


4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate CallJolt:
    • Twilio — telephony and SMS delivery
    • Vapi.ai — AI voice conversation processing
    • Google — calendar integration (when connected by you)
    • Stripe — payment processing
    • Vercel — application hosting
    • Supabase — database hosting
    These providers access only the data necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
  • At Your Direction: When you configure CallJolt to integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar), data is shared as necessary for those integrations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: If CallJolt is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

  • Call recordings and transcripts are retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after account closure.
  • Account information is retained as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure for business and legal purposes.
  • Payment records are retained as required by tax and financial regulations.
  • You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@calljolt.com.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS).
  • Encrypted storage of sensitive credentials (AES-256).
  • Row-level database security ensuring tenant isolation.
  • Webhook signature verification for all third-party integrations.
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel.

No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data.


7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Export your data in a portable format.

CallJolt is a business service and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the CallJolt dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
